Finished one of the Three new paintings tonight. It will have to dry and then I can post it. Having some mixed feelings. Well get up brush off and try again.

I am Justin Mapes an Illustrator and Animator residing in Beijing China. Constantly working to develop new methods and techniques to exercise my imagination.


Current Projects:

#3 100 Pages 5 to a page 1 minute figure drawings grease pencil.

#6 Submit to the Illustrators of the Future Contest.

Ongoing Projects:

Post something at least once a week.

Completed Projects:

#4 1000 30 sec gesture drawing done with wacom table in photoshop. Post top five gestures when completed.

#1 100 pages of 30 second figure drawings with 10 figures per page.

#2 Make 3 gray scale paintings based on drawings from project #1

#5 6 panel comic page self portrait dialogue head changing expressions/acting while executing dialogue.
